CFSA | Solicit Opinions on 11 New Varieties of Food Additives including Quinoline Yellow Aluminum Lake

 
On October 21, 2021, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment solicit public opinions on 11 new food additives. Among them, there are a new food additive Quinoline yellow aluminum lake, 3 new varieties of enzyme preparations for food industry including β-fructofuranosidase, Lactase and Phytase, 2 food additives applying for expanding application scope including Magnesium Chloride and Lutein, a processing aids for the food industry to expand the use scope (Polyacrylamide), 3 new varieties of food nutrition fortifiers including 2'-fucosyllactose, d-ribose and Inositol, and food nutrition fortifier vitamin K (vitamin K2) application for expanding the scope of application. Their safety and process necessity have passed the technical review of the expert review committee.

The deadline for feedback is November 18, 2021. Overdue will be deemed as no comments.
